Inspired by Oscar Wilde’s story of beauty and compassion, Wearingeul The Happy Prince combines a soft violet-blue base with luminous gold shimmer. The pairing recalls the gilded statue at the heart of the tale and gives handwriting a tender, jewel-like radiance.
The blue softens gracefully as it dries while the gold remains visible across the line. Medium and broad nibs show the interaction most fully, and gentle agitation keeps the shimmer beautifully distributed during longer writing sessions.
