Wearingeul The Picture of Dorian Gray is a literary fountain pen ink inspired by Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, a novel of beauty, corruption, secrecy, and the divided self.

The ink presents a dark, atmospheric color with complex shading that suits its source particularly well. On the page, its shifting tones give writing a shadowed quality—an appropriate interpretation of a novel in which an immaculate outward appearance conceals what is gradually being recorded elsewhere.

Choose between the original 30 mL Wearingeul bottle and the 5 mL Boston Lore Archive Bottle.

30 mL Full Bottle — The original Wearingeul bottle, sealed by the manufacturer. A good choice for writers who already know the ink or want a full supply for regular use.

5 mL Archive Bottle — Genuine Wearingeul ink, hand-filled by Boston Lore Studio into a clear Type I borosilicate glass bottle with a lined screw cap. Each bottle is individually labeled and presented in a labeled glassine envelope.

Unlike a disposable plastic sample vial, the Archive Bottle is intended to be kept. Once empty, the glass bottle can be cleaned and reused for ink, refilled from a larger bottle, carried in a pen kit or to the office, or recycled where local glass recycling accepts it.
