Shipping policy

Thank you for visiting Boston Lore Studio.

Every order is carefully packed by hand in our Massachusetts studio. We believe the experience of receiving thoughtfully chosen stationery should begin the moment your package arrives.

Processing Time

Most in-stock orders are processed within 2–4 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

During new product launches, seasonal releases, or periods of unusually high order volume, processing times may be slightly longer. If a significant delay affects your order, we will notify you by email.

Shipping Rates

Boston Lore Studio currently offers standard shipping within the contiguous 48 United States:

  • Orders under $75: $8 flat-rate shipping
  • Orders of $75 or more: Free standard shipping

The $75 free-shipping threshold is based on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before applicable taxes.

Shipping Methods & Delivery

Orders are shipped using trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on the size, weight, destination, and requirements of the shipment.

Standard delivery is generally estimated at 3–5 business days after the order has been processed and shipped. Delivery estimates are provided for guidance and are not guaranteed, as carrier delays may occasionally occur.

At this time, Boston Lore Studio does not offer expedited or overnight shipping.

Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information so you can follow your package's journey.

Pre-Orders

Some Boston Lore Studio Originals are produced in limited editions and may be offered as pre-orders.

Estimated shipping dates will be clearly stated on the product page before purchase.

If an order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, we may hold the shipment until all items are available unless otherwise noted.

Shipping Address

Please verify that your shipping address is complete and correct before placing your order.

Boston Lore Studio cannot be responsible for delays or additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout.

Lost or Delayed Packages

Once a package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, transit and final delivery are handled by the carrier.

If your package appears delayed, please first check the tracking information provided in your shipping confirmation email.

If your package appears to have been lost in transit or has not arrived within a reasonable time, please contact us. We will gladly work with you and the shipping carrier to help resolve the issue.

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Photographs of the damaged packaging
  • Photographs of the affected product(s)

This information allows us to file any necessary shipping claims and arrange an appropriate replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Shipping Area

Boston Lore Studio currently ships only to addresses within the contiguous 48 United States.

At this time, we are unable to ship to:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa
  • APO/FPO/DPO military addresses
  • International destinations
