Diamine's Guitar series takes its names from the finishes of classic electric guitars. Cherry Sunburst recalls the red-to-amber glow of the late-'50s sunburst, a finish that has stood under stage lights for seventy years.
On the page it is a warm red-brown, deeper where the ink gathers and lighter at the edges of each stroke. It has the warmth of a red without the alarm of one, so it suits letters, journals and margin notes alike. The generous 80 mL bottle comes from Diamine of Liverpool, England, who have been making ink since 1864.
