Heavy Old World Brass Clip — Archivist's Edition
$22.00
A plain, heavy clip of the kind once found on a records clerk's desk.
Its face is a simple framed panel with gently flared feet, finished in a softly aged antique brass that already looks as if it has passed through a few decades of filing. Underneath, a strong coiled spring closes two broad plates firmly over a notebook cover or a short stack of papers.
Clip it to the top of an A5 notebook and it becomes a small clipboard for notes in hand. Use it to hold correspondence, receipts, or the pages of a draft together, or leave it on the desk as a quiet, weighty object that does one job well.
