Wearingeul Tumbelina Fountain Pen Ink — 5 mL Archive Bottle

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s Thumbelina, this fountain pen ink from Wearingeul interprets the tiny heroine and the vivid world surrounding her in a bright, warm red-pink. The color moves between coral red and rosy pink depending on the paper, pen, and concentration, with luminous shading and sparkling particles that become especially visible in wetter applications.

Wearingeul creates fountain pen inks inspired by literature, translating characters, scenes, and atmosphere into color. Thumbelina is a particularly lively interpretation, well suited to writers who enjoy expressive reds and pinks with visible variation on the page.

The Boston Lore Studio Archive Bottle

This genuine Wearingeul fountain pen ink is hand-bottled by Boston Lore Studio in a reusable 5 mL high-clarity Type I Class A borosilicate 3.3 glass bottle with a polypropylene screw cap and PTFE liner.

Each Archive Bottle includes an individual Tomoe River 68 gsm ink swatch made with the actual ink and is presented in a labeled glassine envelope.

The glass bottle can be cleaned and reused after the ink is finished. We chose glass rather than a disposable plastic sample vial so that even a small quantity of ink can be kept as a useful, lasting object on the writing desk.

Please note: Ink appearance varies with paper, pen, nib size, ink flow, concentration, and lighting. Sparkling particles naturally settle in the bottle; gently agitate before filling.
