From the Archivist’s Desk

The first thing that struck me about this ink is the intensity of the blue. In the swatch it moves from lighter blue at the edges into a much deeper, saturated center, giving the color more dimension than the bottle alone suggests.

It is also an interesting interpretation of The Phantom of the Opera. Rather than reaching for the obvious theatrical palette of black or red, the blue creates something cooler and more elusive. The result feels less like the stage itself and more like the hidden world behind and beneath it.
