Wearingeul Hades Fountain Pen Ink – 30 mL
Some places in literature are defined by the impossibility of leaving them.
Inspired by Hades, the underworld of Greek mythology, Wearingeul Hades is a dark fountain pen ink built around deep, shadowed blue. Its color sits somewhere between midnight blue, blue-black, and charcoal, giving it a subdued depth that feels appropriately removed from daylight.
Produced by Wearingeul as part of its literary and mythological ink collection, Hades translates the atmosphere of the classical underworld into a color intended for writing. On the page, its darkness makes it practical for longer passages while retaining enough blue character to distinguish it from a conventional black ink.

From the Archivist's Desk
Hades is one of those inks whose darkness becomes more interesting the longer you look at it. At first it can appear nearly black, but the underlying blue emerges as the ink moves across the page and catches different light.
That restraint is precisely what makes the color compelling. It does not need to announce its subject through spectacle. The connection to the underworld is carried by darkness, depth, and the suggestion of blue beneath the surface.
Ink Swatch Note
The ink swatch shown was made on Tomoe River 68 gsm paper. Fountain pen inks can appear different depending on paper, nib, ink concentration, drying time, and lighting conditions. Our swatches are photographed under the natural lighting conditions available at the time and are intended as a guide rather than an exact color reference.i
