Nostalgic Honey moves between amber, caramel, and golden brown, with beautiful shading and a noticeable sheen where the ink pools more heavily. In our testing, it was also a particularly well-behaved ink—an expressive color that remains practical for everyday fountain pen writing.
Inspired by the atmosphere of Japan's Taisho era, the collection draws on Teranishi's long history as an ink maker. The company was founded in Osaka in 1916 and returned to its fountain-pen-ink roots with the Taisho Roman series more than a century later.
Each glass bottle includes a small hanging tag whose reverse can be inked and kept as a color reference—a thoughtful detail that suits the vintage-inspired presentation.
