Teranishi Guitar Aurora Long Glass Dip Pen with Cap

The Teranishi Guitar Aurora Long combines a glass writing nib with a lightweight translucent body and protective cap, making it a particularly practical version of the traditional glass dip pen.

Dip the nib into bottled ink to write, then rinse it with water when you are ready for another color. This makes the pen especially useful for trying new fountain pen inks, making swatches, comparing colors, or simply enjoying bottled ink without filling and cleaning a fountain pen between changes.

The glass nib is replaceable, while the capped design protects the writing point when the pen is not in use. Its long form also feels more familiar in the hand than many compact glass pens.

We tested this pen before adding it to the shop and were particularly taken with how pleasant it is to use. The glass nib writes smoothly, while the cap makes the pen considerably more practical to keep at a writing desk than many traditional glass dip pens. It is especially useful for trying and comparing bottled inks without filling a fountain pen.
