Robert Oster Gold Antiqua Fountain Pen Ink — 50 mL
$20.00
Robert Oster Gold Antiqua occupies the difficult space between yellow, ochre, and brown. In lighter writing it reads as antique gold; in pooled areas it turns rustier and can become almost velvety dark.
Independent reviews agree that this is a strong shading ink with a broad tonal range. It tends to dry relatively quickly and behaves well on a variety of papers. The dramatic darkening in pooled areas is primarily saturation and shading rather than metallic shimmer. Water resistance is very low.
