Red Granite Rocker Ink Blotter

Before quick-drying inks became commonplace, a rocker blotter was a familiar companion to pen-and-ink writing, used to absorb excess ink and help protect freshly written words from smearing.

This historical-style reproduction gives that practical object unusual presence: a naturally patterned red granite top, antiqued brass handle and curved mango-wood rocker. Place blotting paper against freshly written ink and gently rock the blotter across the page.
