Noodler's Halloween Chuckie Fountain Pen Ink — 5 mL Archive Bottle
Noodler's Halloween Chuckie is a deep, shadowy black released as a Halloween special edition, limited bottles. On first contact it reads as plain black; as it dries, a faint magenta cast rises through the line, giving the darkness a dusky quality rather than a flat, printed finish.
The label sets the mood: a caped creature among jack-o'-lanterns, drawn in Noodler's familiar illustrated style. Like every Noodler's ink, it is made in Massachusetts, only a short drive of Boston.
Note from the Archivist
This is a black with a little mischief in it. Its generous flow kept even our very fine nib writing steadily across the page. A pen that writes dry, or one that calls for a freer-flowing ink, may find good company here. The line can appear broader on absorbent paper, and very thin sheets may show through. For October letters, it keeps good company with our Red Cowhide Leather Pen Case, also gathered in the Sleepy Hollow collection.
