Antiqued Brass Fish Letter Opener

Cast in solid brass with an antiqued finish, this wonderfully peculiar desk object disguises a practical purpose beneath its sculptural fish handle. At approximately nine inches long, it has enough presence to live comfortably beside an inkwell, stack of correspondence or favorite writing instruments rather than disappearing into a drawer.

The aged brass finish gives the piece the character of an older writing-desk object, while the elongated blade is made for the simple daily ritual of opening letters.
