Common Loon Black from Anderillium is a 15 mL fountain pen ink from the brand’s Avian Series, inspired by the dark breeding plumage of the Common Loon.

Despite its name, this is not an opaque jet black. In writing it reads as a grey-black to dark charcoal, with visible shading that can give handwriting a softer, more atmospheric character than a conventional saturated black. The color is especially well suited to journaling, correspondence, sketching, and everyday writing when you want a dark neutral with a little more tonal variation.
