A simple wooden rest designed to keep a fountain pen from rolling across the desk while writing, reading, or pausing between pages. The carved channel holds the pen naturally while leaving it immediately at hand.

Available in a single-pen and double-pen form, the latter is particularly useful when writing with two inks or keeping a fountain pen and dip pen together.
