Wearingeul The Little Mermaid translates Hans Christian Andersen’s tale into a clear aquamarine blue-green with cool silver shimmer. The color begins with the brightness of shallow water, while the metallic particles introduce the colder, more distant light of the sea.

The ink’s character comes from the interaction between a relatively light blue-green base and its shimmer rather than from heavy sheen. Broader and wetter nibs show both the color variation and particulate effect more clearly, while finer nibs may present a quieter turquoise line. As with other shimmer inks, gentle agitation helps keep the particles evenly suspended.
