Wearingeul Geppetto draws from Carlo Collodi’s The Adventures of Pinocchio with a warm blush-red to reddish-brown base that can reveal yellow-gold undertones as it thins. The color feels worked and human rather than polished—appropriate for the craftsman at the center of the story.

The ink is known primarily for its tonal separation and warm secondary color rather than particulate shimmer. On fountain-pen-friendly paper, heavier areas can develop a darker surface effect while lighter strokes show more of the yellow warmth beneath. As with many complex shading and sheening inks, paper and nib wetness substantially change the result.
