Wearingeul Annabel Lee interprets Poe’s sea-bound elegy in a cool, slightly green-leaning blue with rose-gold shimmer. The base color is melancholy rather than bright, while the shimmer catches light like something remembered across water.
Independent testing shows strong shading and generally average dry times. The rose-gold shimmer can be comparatively light in ordinary writing and may settle quickly, so this is one of the inks that benefits from occasional agitation and an easily cleaned pen. One detailed test found the ink somewhat pen-picky, while dip pens and wetter nibs displayed it more freely.
