Noodler’s Blue is the blue of the schoolroom inkwell and the letter written in a hurry: bright, classic, and saturated, without the washed-out look that some standard blues take on the page. It belongs to Noodler’s standard line, so it is a plain, water-based ink rather than one of the brand’s permanent formulas.
Shading is modest—more visible in a broader nib than a fine one—and flow is average, with a dry time of around fifty seconds in a medium nib. As with most standard-line inks, water resistance is low, and on very smooth paper it may take a moment longer to set before the page is turned.
