Colonial Writing Stand with Two Porcelain Inkwells
$36.00
A compact writing stand inspired by the portable writing objects of early America. The wooden stand holds two white porcelain inkwells beneath a hinged lid, with a carved resting place for the included wooden nib pen.
Part writing instrument and part desk object, it offers a charming way to bring the rituals of traditional pen-and-ink writing to a contemporary desk. The distressed finish and natural variations give each piece the character of an antique-inspired reproduction.
The two porcelain wells can be used with dip pens and traditional writing inks. They are not airtight and should remain upright when filled; this is a historical-style reproduction rather than a modern sealed ink-storage system.
