Archer & Olive’s Moonlit Garden notebook is bound in soft blue-grey vegan leather, with an intricate silver-and-white design of wildflowers, stars, clouds, and a luminous moon framed beneath an arch. The effect is atmospheric without being overly ornate—a beautiful journal for thoughts gathered at the end of the day, reading notes, sketches, commonplace keeping, and creative work.

Inside are 160 pages of substantial 150gsm kraft dot-grid paper. The warm brown paper offers a very different writing surface from a conventional white notebook and is particularly inviting for pencils, gel pens, metallic and opaque inks, stamps, collage, and mixed-media journaling.

A sewn lay-flat binding makes it comfortable to work across an open spread, while the pen loop, ribbon bookmarks, and back pocket make it a practical journal as well as a decorative one.

We selected Moonlit Garden for The Library for its unusual kraft paper and restrained nocturnal design—a notebook intended as much for collecting and creating as for writing.
